Nukkekotini on hyvin alkeellinen talo, ei sähköä eikä vesijohtoa. Pyykkääminen tapahtuu kellarikerroksen pesuhuoneessa, jossa on veden lämmittämistä varten muuripata. Huonekorkeus on täällä normaalia matalampi. Tällä kertaa tein "vähän uudempia" pesusoikkoja ja sankoja; näissä on jo peltivanteet puisten sijasta. Oikeassa reunassa näkyy vanha kokonaan puinen ämpäri. Pyykkipoikia tietysti tarvitaan myös, vain itse pyykit puuttuvat.
There is no electricity or running water in my dollhouse. In the basement there is a primitive washroom where water can be heated. The room is lower than a normal room. I made these wooden buckets and other things for washing the laundry. Clothes pegs are also needed, so I made them too.
